Join us for an enriching 8-week journey to cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and enhance your overall well-being. Led by a licensed and experienced professional, this workshop will provide you with practical tools and techniques to stay grounded, focused, and resilient in the midst of daily challenges. Whether you're new to mindfulness or looking to deepen your practice, this course will support you in creating lasting positive change.

Anxiety and Depression Skills Group

Why this skills group?

Feeling anxious, like you can’t tell up from down? Your thoughts bombarding your every moment, making it difficult to sleep?  Maybe you’re having a hard time getting up in the morning or you have been having a difficult time finding pleasure in the activities you use to enjoy.


We will learn ways of reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, all through evidenced based practices. Incorporating skills from CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT  (dialectical behavior therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), mindfulness, and more! You will learn at least one new skill per week, being able to practice in session. You’ll also get the support of group when struggling with the skills.



WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Evidence-based coping strategies to manage anxiety and depression in everyday life
  • Interactive, supportive group environment where members share experiences and learn from each other
  • Practical exercises for building resilience, improving emotional regulation, and reducing stress
  • Mindfulness and relaxation techniques to calm the mind and body
  • Tools for challenging negative thoughts and boosting self-esteem
  • Ongoing support and accountability from both peers and the facilitator
